Search terms
A name, place, or other term entered in a search widget is sent directly to the independent provider operating that tool. This site does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, we retain what you provide long enough to answer and manage the exchange. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data and Cookies
Routine server and analytics records may collect technical information when a page loads:

Advertising companies may use their own cookies or identifiers to measure activity across sites and select ads. That tracking occurs on their systems, not as a Clinton County government function. Michigan FOIA, including MCL 15.231 et seq., governs access to official public records and does not replace this private site's privacy notice.

Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and our ability to verify a request, you may ask for a copy of personal data held, request correction, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. These choices do not alter records held by Clinton County, a court, MDOC, or another outside source.

This notice may be revised as services or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date.
